Midsummer Greetings!

Penglaz, the Solstice 'Obby 'Oss of Penzance

Fresh from this year's fantastic Golowan midsummer festivities in Penzance, a brilliant new website has emerged featuring history and mystery of the cherished and much guarded Solstice 'Obby 'Oss of Penzance. See for details.

  1. Wow!! How cool is that?? :-)

I picked up a skull the other day from an antiques market here in Eastern Washington, and it was marked as a cow skull. My dad pointed out though, all cows have horns, and my skull doesn't, so I think it's a horse. And seeing this makes me think it is!
Haha, I had to laugh at the synchronicity...

  2. Hi Chandira

Yeah Penglaz is very cool and a fantastic and well loved "tradition" here in Penzance. Its always great fun dancing the wild serpent dance through the streets around the summer solstice with the Oss leading us all....enjoy your skull! xx
